Atavism #1, #2
interactive installation, Kiveton 2007
The work is an interactive audiovisual piece that is projected inside a window, and seen from the outside. it explores harmonic relationships between, colour, space and vibration.
Four audio speakers are fixed to the inside of the window. In front of each one is a light sensor. When a user places their hand over the sensor, a sound is played back thought the speaker causing a vibration and sound where the hand touches the glass, simultaneously saturated colours are projected into the space.
there we two related versions of the work.
