bleeding toy from childhood

artist: amy cheung, hong kong heritage museum 2006

The piece was a new work by hong kong's leading contemporary artist, amy cheung: a full size military tank hand made from wood with interaction. my role involved developing the interactive component of the work with the artist, implementing and installing control software, and sound design. The project was relatively complicated and included a three screen virtual environment that is seen through slits on the tanks interior, multi channel sound both inside and outside the tank, interactive controls for steering the tank around the virtual environment, smoke machine, interactive lighting and rumble systems.
